Consultations for Mental Health Professionals & Organizations

  • For therapists, counselors & organizations

  • EMDR consultation groups · $50 / hour

As a licensed clinical social worker practicing since 2007, I offer professional consultations to therapists, counselors, and organizations seeking to enhance their cultural competence and trauma-informed practices. My expertise is particularly focused on supporting BIPOC women, addressing racial stress, and navigating the unique challenges faced by first-generation professionals.

Many clinicians struggle with integrating cultural context into evidence-based practices, worry about causing harm despite good intentions, and feel overwhelmed when working with clients whose experiences differ significantly from their own. Organizations often recognize the need for more culturally responsive care but aren't sure how to implement meaningful changes beyond surface-level diversity initiatives. Through my consultation services, I provide practical guidance to help you move beyond theoretical concepts to truly embodied, culturally responsive care that honors your clients' full humanity and complex identities.

I understand the frustration of wanting to serve your diverse clients effectively but feeling underprepared by traditional training that often centers dominant cultural perspectives.

My work is particularly attuned to the experiences of BIPOC women and first-generation professionals in mental health fields. I also have extensive experience in providing (EMDR, CBT, DBT, Play based, PCIT) treatment to children and teens and parenting support and consultation in using non-violent approaches in raising kids.
