This website shares information about my work, my writing, my book, my trainings and the services I offer. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Information, not therapy

Everything on this site, including articles, worksheets, videos, courses and downloads, is for general information and education. It is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it isn't a substitute for care from a qualified professional who knows your situation.

Reaching out doesn't make you my client

Reading this site, emailing me, using the contact form, joining my mailing list or buying a product does not create a therapist–client relationship. That relationship begins only after we've talked, agreed to work together, and you've completed my intake paperwork.

If you are in crisis

This site can't help in an emergency, and I may not see messages right away. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.

My license

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California (LCS28884). I provide therapy only to people who are located in California during our sessions. Consultation, trainings and other professional services are described on their own pages.

Using my content

The writing, images, worksheets and other materials on this site belong to me unless noted otherwise. You're welcome to read, share links to and print pages for your own use. Please don't copy, republish or sell my content without my written permission.

Digital products you buy are for your own personal or professional use. Please don't resell, share or redistribute the files.

Purchases

Prices are in US dollars and payments are processed securely by Stripe. If something is wrong with an order or a download, email me and I'll help.

This site links to other websites I don't control, and I'm not responsible for their content. Some links, including links to Amazon, are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small fee if you buy something through them, at no extra cost to you. I only recommend things I stand behind.

I work to keep the information here accurate and current, but I can't promise it is complete, error-free or right for your situation, and I don't guarantee any particular result from using it. To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or harm that comes from using this site or relying on its content.
