Coaching for Helpers & Healers
Structured, forward-looking support for sustaining a life in the helping professions — boundaries, capacity, and staying connected to why you started.
It takes a special person with a great deal of compassion and heart to be in any of the helping professions — and it takes real support to stay in one. I've spent 16 years as a direct service provider, supervisor, and mentor, and I know the particular weight of being the holder of hope for other people.
Coaching is a different kind of work than therapy, on purpose. There's no diagnosis and no treatment plan; we're not processing trauma. We're building the structures that let you keep doing meaningful work without it consuming you.
What we might work on
- Boundaries you can actually hold — saying no without burning bridges
- Recovering from burnout and building routines that protect you
- Navigating supervision, workplace demands, and role changes
- Reconnecting with the meaning that brought you to this work
Coaching or therapy?
If what you're carrying calls for therapy — trauma, depression, anxiety that's running the show — I'll say so, and we'll start there instead. I offer both, so you don't have to know the answer before you reach out.
